Startup
Prior to arrival at the Training Academy, each TruGreen franchisee completes a Home Study Course designed to bring the class in at the same level – regardless of previous skill sets. Once at the Academy, new business owners undergo an intensive, two-week, hands-on curriculum that develops target skill sets and integrates them into the services you will provide.
Attention is also focused on actual new business startup, marketing, customer acquisition and retention. The government accreditation PA1/PA6 is taken during this course, allowing you to buy and apply commercial products.
Ongoing
After graduation from the Training Academy, TruGreen franchisees can participate in a mentoring programme that pairs experienced franchisees with new owners in the same general service area. The purpose is to press new skill sets into use while developing customer acquisition. Regular training courses are arranged at the Home Office for other lawncare services.
Additionally, there are opportunities to enhance skills through Regional Meetings. Here, new products and processes are showcased and exhibited. These forums provide owners with the opportunity to network, solve common problems and master new skills and techniques.
Extra Franchise Development Training
As you grow your business you will need extra skills. When you want to take on extra staff we arrange training courses for your operators which is based at the Home Office. All you pay for is their accreditation and any accommodation they may require.
