A brand awareness programme was initiated in 2003 to provide the TruGreen name with high-profile awareness among consumers. Then, in 2009, the brand was re-invigorated with a new image, updated website and high profile exhibition attendance. ServiceMaster made an investment into the marketing of the brand and this will continue with the aim of raising awareness of the brand on a national basis.

Full-time regional business development managers assist franchise owners in developing growth-building marketing strategies combined with the use of effective sales materials.

Central Marketing Department
The central marketing department is available for practical advice and makes a number of central initiatives available to business owners with active encouragement to get on board. Central marketing initiatives are routinely initiated with regular programmes that business owners can opt into throughout the year.

Events
In order to promote the services of our franchisees to major customer groups, we support franchisees around the country when they exhibit at various shows. Inevitably our franchisees benefit from business generated by these activities. Material and other marketing collateral is available to business owners to assist them in their local activities.

TruGreen is a member of the ServiceMaster Family of Brands which includes ServiceMaster Clean, Merry Maids, and Furniture Medic. Family of Brands marketing materials provide additional exposure for your growing business. We encourage business owners to meet with their neighbouring businesses to develop relationships that are beneficial and result in referred business for each other.
